Update your address online in Aadhar card
UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) gives you the facility to update your address online in aadhar card through its Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal. There are two methods for this as mentioned below:
1. Update your address online with valid documents.
If you have any phone number registered with your aadhar, then you can easily update your address online. You will just have to upload the clearly scanned documents which are listed on UIDAI website. It must be kept in mind that original documents are to be scanned. Scanning of photocopies is not accepted. It takes maximum 90 days to get your address updated in Aadhar after proper verification by the concerned authority.
2. With Address Validation Letter
If you do not have any address proof and still want to update your new address in aadhar, then you can request for Address Validation Letter.
